What are Offline Sales?

Offline sales are purchases attributed to an ad for a product that a person saw online and then purchased in a retail store.

Capturing and analyzing offline sales data is essential for retailers and brands to understand consumer behavior, measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and optimize business strategies.

Closed-loop reporting gives the ability to determine the impact of marketing on both in-store and online transactions and provides a more holistic view of how media impacts sales.

By looking at omnichannel sales, we gain a comprehensive view of ROAS across all touchpoints. In expanding campaign analysis to include offline attribution, we observed an average ROAS increase of +42% compared to campaigns solely focused on online attribution.
