Retailer Budget Billing
Retailer Budget Billing: What To Expect
Retailer Budget campaigns change how you're invoiced:
Criteo Budget | Retailer Budget | |
|---|---|---|
Working media | Billed by Criteo | Billed by the retailer |
Platform and service fees | Included in your Criteo invoice | Billed separately by Criteo |
Number of invoices | One (from Criteo) | Two (one from the retailer, one from Criteo) |
Spend data in reporting | Includes working media and fees | Working media only — fees not included |
Platform fees for Retailer Budget campaigns are charged on top of your working media spend and do not reduce your balance. Because the retailer invoices working media separately, Retailer Budget performance data in Analytics reflects working media spend only and does not include platform or service fees. Keep this in mind when comparing spend figures across budget models.
Estimate Costs With The Campaign Calculator
Before launching a Retailer Budget campaign, use the built-in cost calculator to estimate your costs. The calculator offers two options depending on how you want to approach your budget.
Option 1: Start with your working media spend Enter the amount you want to spend on working media. The calculator shows you what platform and service fees will be added on top, so you can see your total cost before committing.
Option 2: Start with your total available budget Enter the total amount you have available to spend. The calculator works backward to show you how much will go toward working media after platform and service fees are deducted.
Use Option 1 if you have a fixed media commitment with the retailer and need to understand your total outlay. Use Option 2 if you have an overall budget cap and need to know how much working media it will cover.
