What is the Cap-out Timestamp?
The Cap-Out Timestamp feature helps you monitor when your Sponsored Products ads stop delivering due to pacing settings or budget limits. This visibility allows you to adjust budgets and pacing more effectively to avoid delivery interruptions.
Why use it?
View the 3 most recent cap-out timestamps for a line item.
Understand when a campaign hits its daily, monthly, or total budget cap.
Use timestamp insights to adjust budgets and pacing for better delivery coverage.
Where to find it?
This feature is available for Sponsored Products campaigns in the demand-side of the Retail Media Platform, for both Supply and Demand accounts. Follow these steps:
In Commerce Max, click Campaigns in the header to access the Campaigns page.
Click the name of the campaign you want to check.
On the Line Items page, view the Status column for each line item.
If a line item has a Budget Hit status, hover over the tooltip icon to view the Cap-Out Timestamp.
How it works?
The timestamp indicates when a line item has capped out, depending on its pacing settings.
If a line item:
Has a daily cap: The tooltip will show the 3 most recent daily pace hit timestamps.
Has a monthly cap: The tooltip will show the 3 most recent monthly pace hit timestamps.
Has reached its total budget: The tooltip will show the date the budget capped out.
