Create an Onsite Sponsored Products Campaign Please keep in mind:
Each campaign consists of one or more line items, which group your ads by retailer, dates, creative, SKUs, and targeting.
In this guide, you will learn how to create an Onsite Sponsored Products campaign. Navigate to the Campaigns section of the platform and follow the steps below:
Click the +Campaign button on the Campaign page.
Select Onsite.
For Campaign Type, select Onsite Sponsored Products.
For Buy Type, select Auction.
Note: Most campaigns are auction-based. Should you wish to explore a Sponsorship, please reach out to your Account Strategist.
Name your campaign.
Map to an available balance.
Note: Balances are required to add funds to an account so that your campaigns can run. You can now map a campaign to a balance directly during campaign creation, and update the balance mapping later in Campaign Settings.
Schedule your flight dates
The campaign flight date is different from the line item’s flight dates.
Adding an end date to your campaign is optional.
The end date of the campaign takes priority over the end date of the line item.
Input and define your budget.
Note:
You have the option to set a monthly or daily cap. If you set a cap at the campaign level, the campaign will stop spending once the line items under that campaign reach the amount specified in the cap.
Monthly Cap:
Your campaign will spend until the amount set at this level has been reached by all line items for the entirety of the month.
Daily Cap:
Your campaign will spend until the amount set at this level has been reached for all line items in one day.
Automatic Daily Budget is available at the campaign daily budget level, exactly like the line item level:
This tool divides the budget evenly across all days in the campaign, and will automatically take any underspend and divide it evenly across the remaining days of the campaign.
To enable this option, 3 fields will be required:
Campaign Start Date
Campaign End Date
Campaign Total Budget
Customize your attribution settings.
In the beginning, we recommend that you set up an attribution window that you’re used to, in order to compare apples to apples. Then, as you turn on more campaigns, you can consider changing your model to see the impact of those changes. You can change the attribution settings after creating your campaign and launching your line items.
Click Next. Your campaign is now ready for you to add your line items.
