Optimization Engine Options

You can use this information to decide which Optimization model, or Optimizer, to use for your campaign: Clicks, Conversions, or Revenue. 
 

Click Optimizer 

  • Optimized Metric: CTR (Clickthrough Rate)

  • Can I control my billed CPC? Yes. The CPC bid you enter will not vary.  

  • Is there a learning period? No. Select, launch, and go!  


Conversions Optimizer

  • Optimized Metric: CPO (Cost per Order)  

  • Can I control my billed CPC? Partially. The CPC bid you enter will slightly vary. If you don’t want to bid higher than a specific amount, you can enter a maximum bid (different than the CPC bid you enter) that will act as a hard cap.  

  • Is there a learning period? Yes, it can take 7-10 days on average before the optimizer reaches maximum efficiency.  

Revenue Optimizer

  • Optimized Metric: ROAS (Return On Ad Spend)

  • Can I control my billed CPC? Partially. The CPC bid you enter will slightly vary. If you don’t want to bid higher than a specific amount, you can enter a maximum bid (different than the CPC bid you enter) that will act as a hard cap.  

  • Is there a learning period? Yes, it can take 7-10 days on average before the optimizer reaches maximum efficiency.
